In October 2015, Finergreen collaborated with the Agence des Micro Projets to launch a “renewable energy” endowment session, in the context of the COP21. This session aimed at rewarding the best humanitarian micro projects using renewables as a way to develop for vulnerable people of the developping countries.

Today, and particularly thanks to a collaboration with the Synergie Solaire Fund, the EnR Endowment Session has become an essential meeting point for associations that have projects in hand. Thus in 4 years, we were able to raise € 475,000, making it possible to endow 42 projects in 22 different countries, with grants of up to € 15,000.

In September 2018, we went to meet some of these projects developpers in Senegal, as part of a documentary on the impact of solar energy in Africa. Watch the teaser of the documentary.
