Renewables Prize : an endowment to humanitarian projects in renewable energy

In October 2015, Finergreen collaborated with the Agence des Micro Projets to launch a “renewable energy” endowment session, in the context of the COP21. This session aimed at rewarding the best humanitarian micro projects using renewables as a way to develop for vulnerable people of the developping countries.

In collaboration with Solvéo Energie and Vol V, two actors of the renewables sector and the Agence Française de Développement, Finergreen succesfully raised 80 000€, a sum to support many very promising projects.

Every one of the 35 projects we received were attentively analyzed and discussed by a jury of experts and 12 of them were selected. These winners received an endowment of up to 10 000 € during the COP21, on December 1st 2015.

In 2016, a second renewable energy endowment session was organised with the AMP and thanks to the financial and logistical support of three extra private sponsors : Cap Vert Energie, E-Cube and Ravetto et Associés. During this session, 7 projects were financed in Africa and Asia. They received endowments of up to 10 000 € and Mr Bertrand Piccard gave them their prizes during the Annual Symposium of the Union for Renewable Energies, in the Maison de la Mutualité in Paris, on January 31st, 2017.
